This is an all natural almond paste made by American Almond containing approximately 2/3 almonds and 1/3 sugar. The almond paste is made from select, blanched almonds which are ground and cooked with sugar to make a creamy paste used as an ingredient in cakes, tarts and pastries.
Almonds appear first on the ingredient label, just as they do on the American Almond pastes packaged for bakeries and restaurants. There is no artificial colouring added to this product.
Available in 10 oz (284 g) cans or 2.5 lb (1.13 kg) tubs. The 2.5 lb tub is equivalent to four 10 oz cans.
