Orange Peel Zest - Minced, Dehydrated

No more need to zest those oranges! Our orange peel is the dehydrated zest of the orange.

Our dried orange peel is 3x stronger than fresh orange zest - therefore use 1/3 of what the recipe requires. Example - If the recipe calls for 1 Tablespoon of fresh orange zest, use only 1 teaspoon of our dried orange peel.

To rehydrate, soak in water for about 15 minutes.

Nice scent, no flavour	October 31, 2010

I was so excited to find this product because I wanted to make a cake that called for 1/4 cup of zest and I didn't want to go through all the trouble of zesting enough oranges to get that much zest. I should've done it the old-fashioned way though, because even after using 2 Tbsp of this zest, the cake (which had gotten rave reviews by other bakers) had almost no orange flavour. I was sorely dissapointed in this product.
