Vanilla bean paste is an easy to use replacement for whole vanilla beans.  It is pure vanilla with natural vanilla bean seeds in a convenient, paste form.  Since you see the flecks of vanilla bean seeds, it gives your final product a fantastic appearance as well as delicious flavour.

Vanilla bean paste is a great addition to homemade ice creams, puddings, custards, cakes, etc.  One tablespoon of vanilla bean paste is approximately equal to one whole vanilla bean.
