FLAT RATE SHIPPING CHARGES

We charge a flat shipping rate to anywhere in Canada and the United States. Flat shipping rates for Standard delivery are:
- $7.00 to anywhere in Canada
- $17.00 to anywhere in the Continental United States
International customers outside of Canada and the Continental United States should contact us for shipping rates

STANDARD DELIVERY TIMELINES
After placing your order, we typically package and ship within 1 business day. All standard orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Service and are assigned tracking numbers. The following table provides an estimate on when you should expect to receive your order. *Please note that speed of delivery are as advertised by Canada Post. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within these times.

Canada (Standard Delivery)

  • Alberta – 4 to 13 business days after order has been shipped
  • British Columbia – 4 to 13 business days after order has been shipped
  • Manitoba – 3 to 13 business days after order has been shipped
  • New Brunswick – 3 to 4 business days after order has been shipped
  • Newfoundland – 6 to 13 business days after order has been shipped
  • Northwest Territories – 6 to 13 business days after order has been shipped
  • Nova Scotia – 3 to 13 business days after order has been shipped

United States (Express Delivery)

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer Express Shipping option to the United States.


TRACKING NUMBERS
All orders are assigned a Canada Post tracking number. Once your order has been shipped, a Shipping Confirmation email will be sent to you. Upon receipt of the Shipping Confirmation email, you will be able to login to your account to view your Canada Post tracking number. The progress of your shipment can be tracked on Canada Post's website (www.CanadaPost.ca).


CANADIAN DOLLAR PRICING - NOTE TO U.S. CUSTOMERS
All pricing on our website is in Canadian (CAD) dollars. When you make a purchase, your credit card company or Paypal will automatically charge you in U.S. dollars (USD) based on their existing exchange rates. Generally, USD $1 = CAD $1.30. So USD $100 would purchase approximately CAD $130 worth of product from our store. Currency exchange sites such as www.XE.comcan provide you with a good approximation of constantly changing currency rates.

SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES - IMPORT, DUTIES AND ADDITIONAL FEES

All shipments originate from warehouses within Canada. Generally, purchases less than USD $800 are not charged import duties or brokerage fees when crossing into the United States. However, we cannot guarantee this. Please be aware that U.S. customers are responsible for any additional import duties, taxes or fees charged by U.S. Customs. For any food-related shipments to the U.S., Vanilla Food Company complies with F.D.A. Prior Notice regulations to expedite shipments across the border.

 

ERROR OR DISCREPENCY WITH YOUR ORDER:

If there is an error with your order, please call our customer service line at 905-604-4202 or toll free 877-207-3828 within 5 calendar days of receiving your package. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Code. PLEASE do not ship the item back before calling and receiving a return code.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS / SHIPMENTS NOT PICKED UP:

Any order sent to a customer that is refused or not picked up from the Canada Post depot (when applicable) within the allocated Canada Post timeframes will be charged the shipping costs plus a restocking fee of 15%.

RETURNED ORDERS DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESS:

If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address given by you (the customer) at the time of ordering, we will re-ship the order at your own expense. If you (the customer) choose not to have the order re-shipped, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee plus the original shipping charges.

SPECIAL/BULK ORDERS:

Unfortunately we do not accept returns or exchanges on special / bulk orders. All special orders are pre-paid and shipping charges will be applied when the order is ready to be shipped.

REFUND AND RETURNS:

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO CANADIAN SHIPMENTS. DUE TO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS CHARGES, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON NON-CANADIAN ORDERS.

If you would like to return your order for a refund, please call our customer service line at 905-604-4202 or toll free 877-207-3828 within 5 calendar days of receiving your package. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Code. PLEASE do not ship the item back before calling and receiving a return code.

All items may be returned for a refund less any shipping charges paid on the original order.

  • We do not cover the cost of shipping the product back to Vanilla Food Company. These return shipping costs are the responsiblity of the customer.
  • All return items should be returned within original packaging.
  • Any food items must not have been opened.

Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of returned products.

We cannot accept returns if:

  •  Item is not returned in original packaging.
  •  Any food item has been opened.
  •  Any item has a return post-mark dated beyond the return period.

  • We will provide you with a Return Code
